• What she says:  I'm fine
  • What she means:  Spring awakening should've got more Tony nominations. I mean, not only did Spencer Liff incorporate an entire language accurately into choreography, two actors were able to come together and simultaneously play one character between them. Not to mention, they included deaf actors in a musical which made musicals more accessible to deaf audiences and succeeded in showing that deaf people can dance and play roles in musicals. It was also a completely fresh take on a already iconic musical but even though it was original performed only ten years ago, it still felt completely new. That said, I am thankful for Michael Arden's nomination it was completely well deserved and I hope he wins it- for all of them.
