Just imagine the angsty conversation afterwards.

Peter lets Susan and the DLF take the lead for a little while he slips at the back to walk beside Edmund.
“Why didn’t you take my side?” He says quietly.

Edmund sighs, obviously expecting this conversation. “Because you weren’t on the right side.”

Peter disagrees but that’s not the point. “I was wrong a lot of times back…back in our time. But you still stood beside me.”

Edmund stops walking and rolls his eyes. “Because none of those times involved you abandoning Aslan.”

“I didn’t abandon him,” Peter snaps defensively.

“Fine,” Edmund amends. “But you would rather see yourself right than humble yourself enough to believe Lucy.”

“Well, I didn’t see Him,” Peter says.

“Neither did I!” Edmund exasperates. “Neither one of us saw Narnia either. Without Lucy, you wouldn’t even have the title that you keep enforcing on the rest of this past year. I think she at least deserves respect, let alone our faith in her.”

Peter opens his mouth to say something, but Edmund walks past him. And that stuns him the most. He and Edmund had disagreements often. Very often. They were brothers. It was expected.

But Edmund always listened. Always, even if Peter seemed foolish.

But this time, he was done. Peter swallowed his words, clenched his fists, and charged forward. Purposely bumping Edmund with his shoulder as he walked past, he took charge of the group again.

If Edmund didn’t want to join him, so be it. He could do this himself…at least, he hopes.

Okay so that is such an accurate representation of PC movie Pete?

And it’s sad.

I feel like he’s channeling is grief into anger.
